"George Colligan is highly in demand, having worked with artists such as Cassandra Wilson and Don Byron. Colligan’s musical style incorporates everything from show tunes to funk, from free form to twentieth century classical music. As a leader he has an extensive discography, primarily on European labels. On “Runaway,” Colligan shows his eclecticism, not only in the music he has composed, but also by playing trumpet as well as piano, Fender Rhodes and synthesizers.
