Barcelona Clarinet Players

These are some of the concepts that best define the creative line of the BCP. Their performances are characterized by meticulous chamber work and careful and energetic staging.

Thanks to their versatility and diversity of their projects, they have been invited to participate in numerous international festivals performing in such prominent venues as L'Auditori de Barcelona, Palau de la Música de Valencia, ADDA, Sala 400 de Madrid, Murchison Performing Arts Center or the Meyerson Symphony Center and in countries such as Austria, France, Belgium or Mexico.

They have performed as soloists with groups such as the Lone Star Wind Orchestra, North Texas Wind Symphony, Palma Municipal Band, Bilbao Municipal Band, Barcelona Municipal Band, Symphonic Band of the Americas or the Orquestra Julià Carbonell de les Terres de Lleida under the address of Eugene Corporon, Tim Reynish, José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana, Juan Miguel Romero or Salvador Brotons among others.

BCP has five record albums. 'Toma café', with the music of maestro Pedro Iturralde, 'Czernowitzer Skizzen' with music by Alexander Kukelka, 'Egloga: New flamenco for clarinets and voice' with compositions by Enric Palomar and the collaboration of cantaor Pere Martinez, 'Offertorium', with five compositions by five of the most relevant composers today in Europe and his latest album 'One for all', recorded in the USA with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra and the North Texas Wind Symphony conducted by Eugene Corporon.

Recently the BCP have released 'La Trace', a composition by the renowned José Manuel López López with images by the video artist Pascal Auger and two new albums are being launched: The 'Black Pool Suite' by Joan Vidal and a very special project with chamber music by the great Paquito D'Rivera.

In addition, this season they have planned a tour of Latin American countries, another one for various headquarters of the Cervantes Institute, the return to the USA and the premiere of six new symphonic works, among which those composed by Arturo Márquez, Paquito D'Rivera and Daniel stand out.
